What is Foil Blocking?
Foil Blocking uses the letterpress principle where a male block is produced using zinc, magnesium, copper or brass. This block is then heated on press and a metallic or colour foil is burned onto the material.

Foiling is often used on logos, corporate identities or invitations but it can also be used on most stationery such as letterheads, compliment slips and business cards

Foiling is a cost effective way to add a metallic finish to all or part of a printed product and is fully compatible with laser printers. Foiling and also be used in conjunction with other processes such as embossing, thermography or litho.
